Conflict Risk Analysis and Crisis Mapping

The Science4Peace portal combines conflict monitoring and forecasting data with detailed maps to support conflict early warning, prevention, and crisis management.

The portal brings together a range of tools for conflict monitoring, including the Conflict Event Trends, the Interstate Conflict, and the Global Crisis Atlas (GCA), as well as two forecasting tools: the Dynamic Conflict Risk Model (DCRM),which provides short-term forecasts, and the Global Conflict Risk Index (GCRI), which provides medium-term forecasts. In addition, the Country Profiles consolidate data, figures, and maps from these tools on a single page for 140 countries worldwide.

One account, many EU services

If you work for the European Commission or European External Action Service, you can access the Science4Peace Portal automatically via EU Login with two-factor authentication.

For staff from other EU institutions or Member States' ministries/government offices with prior EEAS cooperation on conflict prevention, analysis, or crisis preparedness, follow these steps:

Log in with your EU Login (or create one if needed using your institutional email).
Once logged in, complete the access request form at the top of the Science4Peace Portal homepage. After review, we'll grant access, and you'll receive a confirmation email to begin using the portal.
